Nelahozeves Castle

Mere 35 km from Prague lies one of the few well-preserved Renaissance castles in Czechia. During your tour of the castle, you will discover not only architecture inspired by the Italian Renaissance style but also an exhibition dedicated to the daily life of the nobility in the 19th century.

Antonín Dvořák Birth House

Take a glimpse into the childhood of one of the greats of not only Czech but also global music, Antonín Dvořák. In his birth house, you will discover both life in a 19th-century village and the rich sources of inspiration for his work.

The museum combines traditional and modern elements—an interactive audiovisual exhibition will guide you through the past. You can immerse yourself in Dvořák’s childhood every day except Monday and also attend regularly held exciting events.

A Year in the Village: Advent

November 29, 2025

Experience Advent as little Toník Dvořák did in the 19th century. This event is part of the A Year in the Village series, which presents Czech rural traditions in a fun and creative way. The event will also include an Advent wreath-making workshop led by expert Pavla Hubalová. More details coming soon.

Střekov Castle

The majestic ruins of the Gothic Střekov Castle are one of the most prominent landmarks of Ústí nad Labem, towering over the city on a steep 250-meter-high rock. Every year, it ranks among the most visited cultural monuments in northern Bohemia.

In addition to the panoramic view of the surroundings, visitors to Střekov can explore exhibits featuring replicas of knightly armor, artistic drawings, and historical photographs. On top of that, we regularly host events at Střekov that are suitable for the whole family.

Lobkowicz Palace

No one visiting Prague Castle should miss the opportunity to explore this elegant 16th-century palace. In addition to a stunning view of Prague, it houses a museum filled with unique historical artifacts and a vast collection of paintings by world-renowned artists such as Bruegel, Canaletto, and Velázquez.

Visitors are guided through the museum by an audio guide, available in a total of 11 languages, which is included in the ticket price. Besides the permanent exhibition, you can also attend regular concerts and temporary exhibitions.

Temporary Exhibition: And Yet, It Is Round!

We invite you to visit a new temporary exhibition that expands the permanent collection at the Lobkowicz Palace. This unique display showcases historical globes, enriched with insights into their production history during the early modern period. The exhibition is complemented by period maps and travelogues.



Classical Music Concert

Every Day, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Enjoy masterpieces of classical music in the magnificent Concert Hall, whose ceiling is adorned with original frescoes by Fabián Šebastián Václav Harovník from the mid-17th century. The Concert Hall opens 15 minutes before the concert begins.

Zámek Lobkowicz Roudnice Winery

Discover one of the largest castles in the Czech Republic with over 200 rooms, 4 wings, 12 corridors, and 365 windows. This majestic Baroque castle, built on the foundations of a 12th-century Romanesque castle, rises above the Elbe River in the heart of the historic town of Roudnice nad Labem, about 50 km from Prague.

The castle is also home to a winery that has been producing excellent wine for 400 years, reflecting the unique local terroir. And as if that weren’t enough, the Roudnice Castle also hosts many interesting events.

Haunted Castle Stories
October 25, 2025

Special guided tours where we’ll share all the spooky and dark tales connected to the Roudnice Castle. The castle corridors will be lit only by candlelight.Entrance to the castle is through the lower courtyard (behind Street Buffet). Tickets must be purchased for a specific time slot. Tours start every 30 minutes. The last tour begins at 20:00.

Horror Night at the Castle
November 1, 2025

A horror night for adults at Roudnice Castle — this time with a longer route and much scarier scenes! Think you can’t be scared easily? Horror fans, this is your chance! Come test your courage as you step into the castle’s dark hallways. You’ll come face to face with ghosts, horror psychopaths, and terrifying monsters acting out the most bizarre, blood-filled scenes. Do you dare take this chilling walk? Expect torture devices and a truly frightening atmosphere. Entry times are every 15 minutes (to allow for live scenes). Recommended for brave visitors aged 15 and up — younger guests only with parental approval. Enter at your own risk.Entrance through the castle (behind Street Buffet).

Haunted Trail through Roudnice Castle

November 1–2, 2025

Step into a world of witches, ghosts, and other spooky creatures. Many years ago, a powerful wizard lived beneath the castle. He was able to protect the town from evil spirits by creating a magical potion that drove away all that was bad. But one day, the potion mysteriously disappeared. Legend says that a dark witch spilled it into several containers and hid them throughout the castle. Each container is guarded by a different spirit or creature, and only brave adventurers (children) can find them, open them, and piece the potion back together. A reward awaits everyone at the end. Please note: the route is not wheelchair accessible. Tickets must be purchased for a specific time slot — entry to the trail is available every 20 minutes. The event runs on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. ickets can be purchased online or at the Information and Transport Center of the Podřipsko Region (there is no ticket office at the castle). Children under 3 years enter free of charge.

The castle chapel in Roudnice nad Labem will once again ring with the sounds of Christmas classics and works by masters of classical music during this year's traditional Advent concert .
