Live Saturdays at Nelahozeves Castle

Are you looking for weekend activities with family and friends? Join us for “Live Saturdays,” our new summer series of small festivals. From arts and crafts stands to live music to theater entertainment, our family-oriented programs will be sure to delight all visitors. Every festival is enhanced with special offerings, including barbecuing in the courtyard, wine tastings at the Lobkowicz Roudnice Winery stand, and fun games and educational workshops for children. September 5, 2020: Wine Harvest at Nelahozeves Castle

Join us on Saturday, September 5 to celebrate the end of summer with a day of wine festivities at Nelahozeves Castle! Visitors can taste a variety of award-winning wines and burčák from the Roudnice Castle Winery, paired with delicious barbecue refreshments and live music.  

Fun daytime activities include a waffle eating contest, a treasure hunt, and creative artistic workshops. Children can also enjoy a bouncy castle and our new playground.

We have also prepared a special evening program for visitors until 22:00. While sipping on a glass (or two) of our signature Riesling, take in the nighttime atmosphere with live music performances of several groups in the castle garden, featuring rock, pop, blues and more.

Visitors can choose from three ticket options:

  • Day Ticket: 09:30–17:00
  • Evening Ticket: 17:00–22:00
  • Full Day Ticket: 9:30–22:00 (our recommendation to enjoy the full day of festivities)

Tours of the permanent exhibition are included in the price of the festival ticket.

We recommend purchasing tickets online, to avoid queues.

The maximum number of people allowed at one time in indoor and outdoor spaces is in compliance with the public health regulations issued by the authorities.
