… Our night at Nelahozeves Castle started with a trumpet serenade from the upper story windows. Then the children’s choir, Bambini di Praga, sang to the group. William Lobkowicz then addressed them with history of the castle and the renovation process and directed them to the art gallery. Next, dinner was served. The evening’s finale was a string quartet and opera singers. Our guests were awestruck from the first moment. They were completely surprised and pleased that Mr. Lobkowicz was willing to address them personally – in a style that was open and informal. They were grateful to see his personal art collection. They were impressed by the food, the atmosphere, and the service in his “home.” The entertainment provided left them breathless. In summary, the evening was nothing short of perfect. …

The opening night at the Rudolfinum and exclusive fireworks and cocktails on the Charles Bridge, not to mention the lighting of the Prague Castle, is still referred to as one of the best university openings ever. From that high, your team took the events even higher! The creative Bohemian night in the Lucerna Palace to the medieval night at Nelahozeves Castle to the elegant closing gala in Spanish Hall, all were some of the most incredible social events I have experienced in my 12 years of producing YPO universities.
