This year, Advent Festival will take place on the weekend of 23. - 24. November 2013.
Come, get in the Christmas spirit and join us for the traditional Advent Fair at Nelahozeves Castle.
The two-day event boasts a full program of activities including tours of the Castle exhibition by guides in period costume, Advent concerts in the Knight's Hall, children's craft workshops, juggling shows, musicians - and even a visit by St. Nicholas and the traditional Czech Christmastime Angel and Devil. A fine selection of craft and specialty food vendors fill the courtyard and halls of the Castle throughout the weekend selling high-quality traditional ceramics, crafts, Christmas decorations and gifts. The Castle Gift Shop also has a wonderful assortment of unique gifts, including jewelry, hand-blown glass, postcards and other souvenirs.
Delicious seasonal specialties are served by Lobkowicz Catering in the courtyard and the Castle cellars. Also available for sampling and purchase are award-winning Lobkowicz wines and beers from the Roudnice Lobkowicz Winery.
